I am the oldest of ten children and a country girl who adores farm life, riding and training horses, pumpkin spice lattes, and my Savior Jesus. I was homeschooled from start to finish and one of the most important things it taught me is that learning never ends.
I also adore books -
if you hadn't already guessed. A few of my favorite authors (including writers who have challenged and inspired me) are Elisabeth Elliot, Chuck Black, C.S. Lewis, Mrs. E. Prentiss, Douglas Bond, and George MacDonald.
Books have been some of my best friends ever since I first learned to read. I grew up reading anything from Nancy Drew mysteries to classic novels by Charles Dickens. From there my love of words only grew, but it wasn't until I was twelve that I embarked on the journey to write my first novel. Through that "accidental book", no matter how novice or cliché, I discovered a love of writing that I had never know before.
By the time I wrote "The End" I was hooked!
I am no eighteen-years-old and have written dozens of short stories, articles, and several novels. Not only has my love for writing grown, but my desires and goals have changed as well. My mission is not simply to inspire and excite others through the adventures of a book.
I pray instead, that my work will reflect the overwhelming love of the Savior of my soul.
My favorite books are the ones that leave me on fire for Christ and ready to tackle the real-life adventure of following Him.
My dream is to one day be a traditionally published author, but until that happens, I am living life to the fullest and using whatever spare time I have to write about it!
